The mission of I Am Gracious “Tweeny”, is to raise the self-esteem and self-image in young girls in the SWLA community. Many girls ages 11-13, on a large scale tend to struggle with many issues including low self-esteem and poor self-worth, amongst many other issues. It is evident that investments need to be made into the lives of such young women: to teach and instill principles, good morals, good character and to help young girls to live a purposeful life. IAG Tweeny strives to enhance their lives through community service projects, workshops and events that serve and inspire individual advancement. This program will also help young girls to develop healthy identities, healthy self-esteem and make decisions that will not only transform their lives, but also their neighborhoods and communities.
